Fashion reaches new heights this season with a mixture of trends that is sure to satisfy all women.  Fur, plaid, patent leather, tweed and other textures, military, Oxfords, patterns, animal print, snake skin, and bi-colored styles are all apart of the fashion mix.

For daytime, flat boots and military style boots will reign while for evening, high-heel booties and pointy high-heel pumps while offer a contrast to the daytime thus creating diverse female fashion image.

Every woman must have 3 important items in her closet in order to be in style during A/W 2011-12: #1 a pair of tall black boots (over the knee), #2 a pair of sexy red pumps, and #3 flat n’ furry casual booties.  These three styles will be enough to enrich your entire shoe collection.  

This season no woman should be without her basic black of course, but she should also be ready for a splash of color.  A/W 2011-12 will be no ordinary winter, in fact this season we will see more colors circulating than ever before.  Deep red, forest green, royal blue, sweet cognac will all be major players in clothing and footwear.

Handbags and belts are a “must” in completing the perfect outfit.  This season tiny clutch purses and thin envelope handbags are in the spotlight for evening, and as for daytime, the bigger the handbag the better.  Patent leather, suede, snake skin, animal print, and fur will all adorn our handbags.

Similarly, the same extreme applies to belts.  Thin belts tied tightly around the waistline and large belts which rest on the hips will both be major players this season. 

Fashion is constantly revolving and returning.  What is fashionable today was also probably fashionable 5-10 years ago.  Items that have been overused and over-worn are the ones that should be taken out of your wardrobe. 

However difficult it may be to let go of your favorite items, if something is faded, torn or ripped, etc. it will only take away from the rest of your look. 

At the same time, it is difficult to keep everything in your closet every year, just in case it comes back I style some day.  You have to consider space shortage and decide what you simply cannot be without.
